Launch of the Jewish Women’s Lawyer Network

On 1 June 2016, Talya Faigenbaum was honoured to speak at a cocktail event to mark the launch of the inaugural Jewish Women’s Lawyer Network.

The project, which is supported by the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia, aims to fill the current gap in the legal sector by creating a space for Jewish professional women to focus on issues of specific relevance and foster camaraderie and mentorship.

The evening was a great success and well attended by women from across the legal landscape, including barristers, solicitors, paralegals and law students as well as Her Honour Judge Sandy David of the County Court who also addressed the audience.

The JWLN has been spearheaded by lawyer, Dara Isaacson, and we are looking forward to seeing its growth and impact in the future.
